Attention adventure-seekers... Bancroft is calling you! Snowmobiles, ATVs, dirt bikes, and more! Bancroft has over 150km of offroad trails. There is trail access on our street, so you can ride right from our driveway into hours of offroading fun. Roll through the Tim Horton's drive-thru in town for a snack. They are happy to serve you on your offroad vehicle!
Proximity to Adventure
Bancroft is centrally located allowing guests to plan day trips to surrounding areas. Eagle's Nest has a great selection of trails and stunning lookouts and is conveniently located right in town. Silent Lake & Algonquin Provincial Parks, Burleigh Falls, Barry's Pay, Peterborough & Ottawa are all possible day trips from our cottage.
Winter Wonderland
Winter cottaging is a true Canadian experience. Grab your skates and head down to Jeffrey Lake for a casual skate or a hockey game. Explore the trails by snowmobile, cross country skis, or snowshoes. If skiing & snowboarding is more your forte, check out Sir Sam's in Haliburton only an hour away. Whatever your winter activity, warm up with a soak in the hot tub or roast by the campfire in your snowsuits!
